I think it’s in my genes. My grandma paints, my mother has a creative streak and my fingers start itching if I leave my paint brush for too long. As a child I used to disappear between pencils, mermaids and paper. So it was only natural that I chose to focus on art during my secondary schooling. After that, I studied illustration and design.
A few years later, I took further painting lessons with Christiane Vleugels (an exceptional teacher, one in a thousand). During her lessons I lost my heart to oil paint.
These days, glittering goldfish glide along, octopus parade past and I make rabbits magically materialize on a canvas.
Nothing is impossible, anything could happen!
