The beauty of what is broken
This painting is part of a triptych I created during a time when a breakup also meant the end of a special friendship. It was a painful time, but also a time when I learned a lot about myself.
To me, the golden crack is more than a sign of what is broken. Sometimes a crack lets the light back in.
